Gentle readers of this American Chronicle, the Oil industry is callously arrogant and dangerous and when something happens, like an Oil Spill, they shrug it off and cover it up. They are so rich from years of selling Oil to the World, they basically don't worry about lawsuits or even government intervention, and they understand exactly how long Oil remains in the environment. The only way Life on Earth and ordinary citizens can protect ourselves from them, is to not buy their products! That means not buying Gas burning Cars and products made directly from Oil. Don't buy Plastic products unless you are absolutely certain the Plastic was recycled.
The door remains open for recycled Plastic, but very little else. Oil contains Toxic Polynuclear Aromatic Hydrocargons or (PAHs). The solvent Corexit British Petrolium sprayed on the Gulf of Mexico Oil spill in order to break up the thick Oil, is proven to be dangerously toxic. I question why B.P. sprayed Corexit? It seems logical that thick and sticky Oil is easier to pick up than diluted Oil, which creates dispersion over a wider area? Could the only reason B.P. sprayed Corexit was to disperse the Oil as quickly as possible to avoid negative Publicity pictures of the growing Oil Slick? For over a hundred years Oil has been pumped up from deep underground and then pumped to refineries and converted into Gas. That liquid Gas is then transported to shiny pump stations across the country where it is sold to "consumers". When Gas is burned within internal combustion engines, it becomes deadly toxic Carbon Monoxide and it rises up, disperses, and warms the atmosphere. Global warming is the end result of this process. How arrogant is British Petrolium and the other Oil companies? Watch this Video for what is amounting to willful negligence on the part of B.P., leading to the sickness and death of innocent clean-up workers and also indirectly, to your own personal sickness and death!
